Kevin Ralph, President at Skywater Yachts, unveiled details on a new “transformational refit project” to be undertaken by Ares Custom Yachts, in collaboration with Engineering and Naval Architect firm Persak & Wurmfeld.

The 102’ motoryacht started life as a Broward Motoryacht, which was purchased by a foreign Buyer who set about transforming it into an updated and modern vessel with the latest systems and equipment. Full details can be seen at 102′ Ares Yacht Retrofit.

Considerable time, money and effort has already been spent by Persak & Wurmfeld in engineering and re-styling the vessel, changing the window lines, bow profile and fashion plates, with Ares Marine doing a lot of welding work, throughout the vessel, which also included new through hulls and strengthening the aft deck overhead to be able to take a larger tender.
